Elevated Front with Tee or Noodle Drill
15m
What This Drill Helps Fix
Helps hitters who drop their hands as the body starts to sequence into the swing. By elevating the ball on a pool noodle, tee, or cone set higher than a normal pitch, the setup acts as a physical restraint—the hitter can't reach the ball unless the hands and barrel stay up and the path goes direct to contact.
Why Fixing This Is Important
Dropping the hands creates a longer, loopier path that costs the hitter contact consistency and coverage on pitches up in the zone — swing-and-miss and weak fly balls follow. It also steals time, forcing late, rushed swings instead of an on-time, direct move to the ball.
